I would be glad to hear your best advise....

Well, it's about as close to a "turn on and go" detector as there is. Get a good ground balance for maximum depth and set the sen. on 99 and if its noisy, lower the sen until it becomes stable/quiet. Few places I can't run mine on 99. Disc. is a matter of choice. I like to hear everything so I run disc 1. Tones are a matter of choice, too, but I prefer at least 3 for coin shooting. I believe you will really enjoy the Omega. Good luck and HH jim tn
 
My best advice....get the 5" DD coil. It rocks in trashy areas. 6" on a penny.....easily. But first learn the machine...then if really trashy areas are a opportunity for you.....the 5". And come here and ask as many questions as you want:)
