Hey guys. I am a new Anfibio Multi owner, and have just barely begun hunting with it.
I'm sure that as you put in more time with the Anfibio, you'll come to appreciate it more and more. It's a terrific detector.

My question is this: Are you able to distinguish the difference between a pop can at 14" vs a silver quarter at 7"? I was hunting yesterday, and dug several really deep pop/beer cans. I know this was somewhat of a problem with my Explorer also, but I could often times tell it was a larger object when I pinpointed it.
Metal beverage cans can, and will, fool any detector at times when compared with a VDI read-out that is similar to a USA coin, such as a silver Quarter as you suggested. Usually the larger targets can be 'classified' by using the Pinpoint function to verify a narrower or wider signal. At times you can simply sweep over a suspected target you believe to be larger than a coin and get ample coil 'lift' away from the ground and still get an audio hit when you sweep side-to-side.
Also, if you learn and gain confidence of your detector and coil's ability to provide a close-to-accurate Coin Depth, and the suggestion is a 7" deep coin, then if you've plugged a spot to 7" - 8" and your target is still there but deeper, you can again make just one or two passes with the search coil at a raised height, and if you have ample coil lift, your target is likely larger and deeper. Fill the dirt and plug back, stomp it down, and continue on. No need to dig deeper if working a typical Coin & Jewelry location.

Also, what mode do you hunt in most of the time?
Most of the time I am working an Anfibio Multi in 3-Tone
(Di-3) with a Sensitivity of '99' and Discrimination at '03' with Ferrous Volume
(Tone Volume for the ferrous range) at '01' and mostly using the 7" Concentric coil. In very tight, densely iron littered sites I opt for the 5" DD I keep mounted on separate middle and lower rods, and in more open and sparsely littered environments I'll probably switch to the stock 11" DD coil that is also mounted on its own rod-set.
If a site is sparsely littered, or if the offending trash is mainly nails or similar wire-iron, then my #2 favorite search mode is the 2-Tone or Di-2,.with Sensitivity at '95.' If I anticipate a site to provide some deeper coin-size targets
(such as Coins, Trade Tokens, silver or gold Rings and other desired jewelry), and by 'deep' I am referring to coins at 5" - 6" or more, then I like to use the 'Deep' mode.
Just put in the time and learn as you go until the Anfibio is more or less well undrstood. It's really an impressive metal detector.
