I found a really nice, brand spanking new Apple I phone today, laying in its case in a parking lot while I was working. And then went through the info on it and found the owner. What do those things go for? The box of Dinstull's chocolates she brought me was really good.... HH Joe

I found a phone this summer at the beach while detecting. The owner was delighted to get it back....no choclate but a nice thank you note from her.

Found it on the side of the street in boston, apparently somebody put it on top of their car and it fell off as they drove away.
It turned out to belong to a college student, I found a piece of paper in the case that had an email from his mother on it, emailed them and got his email and arranged to return it. Met up and gave it back, and had a couple beers with the guy. And best of all, a bunch of the music was stuff I liked and he let me hang onto it and burn half the CD's before returning it.

Another time found a wallet on the sidewalk, and also managed to return it. Again, lost by a college student.

I found a cell phone on the river bank while fishing. Called a couple of the numbers and got the owner. He came over and picked it up. Said his brother was a commercial fisherman and that he would bring me a bucket of fresh salmon eggs to cure for bait. Nice!!

Also had my wallet slip out of my pocket on the way to ride the ATV. A guy found it and called my home and my wife answered. He told her where it was and then she called me, on the ATV in the woods, and asked me where my wallet was. Oh #%*@! It wasn't there. I picked it up on my way home and offered the young couple living in a tiny apartment some cash for a dinner out. No thanks. Just happy to see I got it back. Jim

Thats awesome!!!

Cool, this thing was so complex I couldnt figure out how to get to the #'s. Remember when phones had BUTTONS!! I dont know what to do with a touch screen..... cept touch it all over and see what happens

if she lived in an Old House! Then you could have had the Chocolates for an appetizer and the Old Coins for dessert. Oh Well! Maybe next time huh! I think you did your good deed for the month also. Congrats on returning that Phone. Good Luck and HH to you.

Pretty cool, I have found phones, wallets with lots of cash and I have always returned them. What did I get in return. All thanks and one person a hugh. Cheap bastards!:crylol:
