Wow, is all I can say. I was able to get out last night for an hr and a half. I went to a 1700's home in which I am the only person to have ever detected. I know this because the people who live there have owned it since the forty's. I have been there many many times with other detectors (two) I have hit the place very hard, but never really got anything. A couple of shallow merc's and a few wheats. I have always said to myself that it didn't make sense, there had to be more. the whole yard is littered heavily in iron. The bottom pic is the results. I got five wheats, four Indians, 1897,99, 02, 07 a merc 1943 and a 1891 seated dime. I was using the pro coil and was detecting in a area that I had previously spent the most time in. ( 20' X 20' ) I think the Etrac's ability to "see through the null" and iron mask made the difference. I would be curious to see what the 6X8 SEF will do there. I can't wait to go back. IF THERE WAS ANY DOUBT LEFT IN MY MIND THAT THE ETRAC IS BEST DETECTOR OUT THERE......IT IS GONE! who wants to buy my V3?

The top pic are the coins I got on the last few outings. I got the two cent piece on Sat in a field. 1865

That's a great day in any ones book!! I bet you were on cloud nine. Congrats!!

Very nice haul and I bet you have no desire to hunt with the V3 after getting your E-Trac dialed in  And I am interested in your results when you use the 8 X 6 as it has been extremely good to me in the heavy trash and no slouch in the depth department either,Ray.

Thanks for taking us along on the hunt. I really appreciated the whole story and the pictures.

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it safe to assume one of the two detectors you hit that place with previously was your V3 and if so, I am glad I decided against the V3. The ET is one HAIL of a machine and I can hardly wait to get one. Thanks for sharing. HH Nampa 23

Nice hunting!!! Looks like your E-trac found a lot of silver the other two detectors missed. Congrats!
