Someone needs to show the "engineering team" this thread. Write that person back and ask for direct line or email. Also write coiltec and show them the thread. This is a reason that other company's come in and walk over patents all the time. It's all about supply and demand. There is enough demand for this item. Look at the compeditors they are all starting to make sniper coils and all sorts of names for just a smaller coil. A lot seem to be going the double d design and it's working well. Just read threads on other detectors they are proven and even the HF 6" seems to be. But people are silver hungry and lower freq coils beep better on that right? Maybe we just gotta say pretty please?

It will probably come from Coiltek. That is who you guys should be pestering. Best bang for the buck. ML has been asked for more coils for quite a while. It would appear that they have reasons for not offering a small DD LF coil. They have licensed an aftermarket supplier and that has benefited us Xterra owners. This means they were listening. If you want more coils ask Coiltek.
