) but I'm still interested to see what you like about it. I'm currently using an XS Explorer which is near the end of it's useful life, so when it packs it in, the Explorer, Safari and E-trac are all on the table as a replacement.
Here is an honest opinion. If you are like me and will use the full potential of the ET in all different kind of environments. I think the ET would be great. If you only park hunt or tot lots then it maybe too much. The same can be said for beach hunting as well as relic hunting. There is no point if your not going to use all the features. I think once some of the long time seasoned pros with an open mind and who are not biased start using it here in the sates we will find out it has to be setup and run differently than what others are used to with simmiler machines. The USB and software is a novel idea. It would be nice to edit the patterns on the PC, would also be nice to beable to use the USB to flash upgrade the software in the future. Who knows maybe someone will come up with a better program. Its a great machine but i don't know if it worth $1500. I too traded in on a new ET. I think it could use some refineing as well as some more time in the hands of someone willing to learn its diffrences. I'll keep you all posted.
and remember that it's just new knowledge.
