So being laid up from work with my arm in a cast has afforded me opportunities to go digging, so I go. Well this one-armed bandit scored pretty cool yesterday. I went to work with my wife, she works at our old church, and hunted the large field out back. The field has two ball diamonds and is frequently used for frisbee tourneys. I hunted three days recently looking for whatever, and scored this lot of items yesterday.
I got an iffy signal at one point. It was jumping around at the low silver end, so I decided to dig it up. The large square ring was just barely sticking out of the plug, I was excited to find my first ring on land this season. Well I scanned the hole before covering it back up, a good practice for everyone, and I got another signal. Little bit of work with the pinpointer and brass probe located the second ring. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, two rings in one hole! A first time for me. I cleaned them up some, they look like copper or brass that has been plated. Not terribly valuable, but exciting still the same.
