I'll take that Merc

Haven't been out hardly at all this year due to lower back issues but today I had to get out to try a new coil that I bought for the Explorer; the 11" minelab pro-coil... I am very happy with it compared to the slim-line or the FBS 1050....

Took it for a spin around a private property that Stormtrooper and I have hunted to death... 2nd hole a 42 Merc. not too deep. Maybe 8 inches or so...

A few holes later came across a very faint deep signal and decided to pop the plug. When I finally saw the rim of this target I was so deep (and I don't want to say how deep because I don't like to argue) I thought, this ones got to be a Barber. Nope, just another Merc. DANG...

When I got it home and took a closer look at it, I was much happier with that Merc.. 1921 D

It was nice to get out for a few holes today...

There tougher than heck to find and when you do, boy!, you just want to jump up for joy! Congrats on a great find! Also, you may want to take a closer look at that 42 Merc you found. It maybe the 2 over 1 Error and worth more than the 21-d is. Something looks a little weird with the last digit and that is why I bring this up to you. I am curious. He's right about that 2. Looks just the 2 over 1 error I see here in the red book.
