I'm back... and got in my 1st hunt of 2012...

Hello all...

I've only been able to lurk as of late... I still have 70+ direct reports with 6 major global projects ongoing... but we've installed a few people that are managing some of the day to day work for thier groups...

Then... yesterday I ripped a room apart to start a house project... Ceiling is down, all trim and baseboard has been removed... 4+ hours sanding the floor (last night and this am)... and I snuck out for 2.5 hours to get in my first outing since late in November...

I headed to Indian Park... named as such as it has yielded me 50+ indians over the last 18 months...

and guess what my 2nd coin of the hunt was :)

The park people removed a large tree and there is a good indent left from where it was... 2" down along the outter lip... 8/35... and here is:

1887 Indian Head

and it wasn't 10 minutes later...

1909 Indian Head Penny << Where is the stinking "S" ???

I was able to nab my 1st silver of the year as well... This signal started as a 12/40 12/41 and I was thinking Wheatie... but when I got closer the X1 was reading 12/44...

1896 Barber Dime

The next keep took me another 45 minutes to find...

1887 Indian Head Penny

I thought this target was going to by my 4th Indian Head for the day... but I was fooled :p

As I was walking a line back to the car I recovered a wheatie...

It was 34 when I arrived @ 9am... and 48 @ 11:30 as I drove off... 3 Indians and a Barber dime... Good start to 2012... :)

I have chips in my veins... I can build you a data center... but I'm spreading my wings... This is all new for me... but I have to say... That newly sanding floor looks amazing :) Prepping walls for paint then I'll be staping up a new celing :)

Glad to get out playing in the dig though :)
