WOW!!! That is alot of stuff you have found there. And just think how much more finds are out there waiting to be had. keep up the unbelievable work. By the way, I wouldn't go and jinx yourself like that when you say you haven't been skunked yet., because everyone gets skunked sooner or later.

Looks as if you hit a Virgins Site nobody else knew of or nobody in your area hunts water. Either way you appear to have found the honey pot of gold most of us look for. Nice finds and am looking forward to your daily pic's.

Hi Mrchile,

What great finds, do the people that visit that lake of yours stand on the shore and throw all the jewelery into the lake.

All the best.....Boony

I'm thinking that there must be a lot of skinny dipping going on. How about you?

Thats a great pile of loot you have their! I think all the freaks live in SE Wisconsin . SO far busting throught he frost I got a tape measure from the Coast to Coast store 12" deep and two pennies wrapped in gold foil or elctroplated gold or something like that. Anybody else evr find pennies wrapped in a gold foil? And some clad for my morning coffee. I put the pic up so it could be the alter ego of your great pic. Dont laugh to hard. The gold penny had me at first.
The date is wrong in the pic, its todays

It was probably some kids that know you are out there detecting and they just want to play games with you.

I like that Idea. Watch them almost have a heart attack and jump up and down, it's just to funny.

This was the first time I was ever at this spot. They were about 3 to 4 inches down in the frost. They have been their awhile because the penny underneath the foil is pretty ratty. I have been here 3 years and actually never seen anybody in this park. But who is to say it wasnt a trick played on someone else years ago? Once the frost is gone I will go for the deeper blips.
The freaks all live here anyway.

He said in the post that it was all found since he got his Explorer II on January 13th...a little over a month ago.

I got a set of earrings (costume jewelery) wrapped in foil. Probably kids messing around. Sounded like a nickel. Almost threw the foil away, opened it up and saw six big paste diamonds. I almost had a heart attack, then I saw the cheap setting and realized they were junk. Still fun though. We have a quite a few freaks around here too.

But I wont tell :devil::devil::devil:

I would never do anything to Dale like that or would I. Seriously though, I probably would throw a worn out Barber Dime into a lake just to see him go in after it!:devil::devil::devil:
