Indian And Artifacts

Went out with Doug and Diane and did a little hunting Sunday afternoon. Did a door knock and got permission on a nice old house. The yard was clean not many signals. First coin was a 1949 Jeff and then I got a jumpy 12-35 and that normally signifies Indian but it was only at two inches so imagine my suprise when it did turn out to be a crusty 1904 Indian Head. Found a mower struck wheatie, a nice decorated suspender buckle and a part of a heart locket. Doug got one wheat. Since it was getting a bit late we thought to go to an old school, found a sun and moon pendant and mucho clad including 5 nickels! School is old enough that there is probably some silver there somewhere will have to go back and try it again when we have more time.

Maybe somebody was doin' some target practice with a .22 on old Abe ???

Nice finds Tony! Congratulations on the hunt and thanks for the pictures.

If what you found is still in your thoughts, than it was an awesome hunt. If I leave with a wheat, I feel as though it was well worth it. The silver is there, keep hitting it.

beautiful finds,
Moose
