Indian and ???silver

Hey folks. Went to my go-to spot that I have pounded for the past year first step after turning on the Etrac, I got a wonky bouncy signal going from 09-41 to 11/12-47. Pulled an 1899 Indian Head then about 2" deeper in the same hole, a piece of something that I THINK is silver. It reads solid 11-47. Any guesses I. What it could be? Thanks for looking and HH

Wow, a silver shoe buckle. This is such a fantastic hobby , you never know what the next beep might bring.

Very cool, did you test the silver? Hope it's real. Congrats and HH

Love finds like that! Very unusual and unique! Sure looks to be silver.:clapping::thumbup: The IH not to shabby either!

Nice finds !
Yes, looks like part of a shoe buckle or possibly a piece the was worn in hair ?

It is not magnetic and smells like rotten eggs when placed on tin foil in hot water/baking soda solution. Thank you for all the positive comments. It is officially my favorite find this year!
