While on the field I lost my coil signal on my MD. It had never happen before and of course I panicked. After a moment of calming down I remembered that I had snagged the cable from the coil to the connector right at the control box. After a quick inspection to make sure that all the connector's male prong terminals were fine. I noticed that one of the female terminal's gap was a little wider than usual (on the control unit). By making sure that the connector was perfectly aligned and that it was screwed in tight the MD was working perfect. Now finally to my question: Is there any possible way of increasing the tension on the female terminal? In other words, making the gap smaller?
The reason I ask is that the my warranty expired and send the unit in would be expensive. If there was a way of simply finding something that could slip in snug in that one particular female terminal and plug in the male one with the rest of the connector.
Any help would be appreciated.
