.... the obvious bad part is criminals can buy or steal a gun and conceal carry it without fear that they won't face an extra charge of carring without a permit for something else they do or did.

... bad part is someone can buy a gun and carry it without proper handling / shooting / self protection law training and end up hurting themself or others when it should / could have been avoided had they had proper training.

.... good part is a responsible citizen can carry and protect themself without having to get a permit .... assuming a good citizen would make sure they were trained in laws and handling / shooting skills.

Alaska and Vermont already have no permit carry and I don't recall hearing HORROR stories from there. Also,if a person is going to whip it out or flash it,whats the difference between concelled and open carry? With or without a permit, they're still going to do their thing. They said the same thing about us folks in Ohio getting permits for CC.It didn't happen !!Sure,we have killings, almost every night in Cincinnati, but a look at who is doing the shooting--usually drugs, drive bys and someone "boffing"someones wife or girlfriend and 99.9% of the time its someone that is not allowed, legally,to have a gun in the first place. Its not perfect, but it is better than standing out there bald faced or taking a knife to a gun fight.Just my two cents worth !!!
