Interferrence from other detectors

I have a T2se detector and love it. But when hunting with someone else with a Minelab especially A Minelab SE Pro or Etrac I cannot hunt near them because the interferrance is so great my detector will not work. What can i do to eliminate this problem except for putting distance between the person swinging a Minelab Se Pro or Etrac?. Thanks in advance.

Have them do a noise cancel on their detectors may help.

tape a penny on the bottom of his coil when he's not looking...that should keep him busy enough for a while. I was trying to hunt once with another guy when we were both using CZ20's...sheesh, couldn't get within 50 yards of him!

The Minelab user can manually change channels and it should solve the problem. Hunting with my son that has a V3i I have to change channels sometimes. HH :teknetics::minelab::fisher:

I had a hunting buddy do that to me a few years ago.
It was because I was finding all the goodies and he wanted a jump on me. It took me 10 minutes to figure it out. If I'd have looked up and saw him laughing I would have fixed it quicker.

Pull your trigger and hit the button and change frequencies. I usually hunt in F1 as f5 usually gets interference from my propointer.
