Ireland or Malaysa????????:surrender:

I keep seeing post about E-Trac made in Ireland or Malaysa. How can you tell where you machine was made and second is one made better than the other? Thanks Jim

I was going to ask the same question about the difference between the two,you can tell where it's made by the tag on the box.
I assume most people would want the one made in Ireland?

Mine was made in Malaysa; I have about 30 hours on it seems to be working OK. Not sure but I would think most that we get would be from Malaysa. Ireland supplys the European demand.

I read a while back the machines are assembled in Malaysia. The electronics and parts were made in Australia. I have an Excallibur II and a Safari that were made in Ireland. Hopefully the E-Trac gives me the great service like the other two machines have. HH :minelab:

Check on the outside of the box the E Trac came in. It will tell you where it was made. Mine was made in Ireland according to the box. I can also tell because I have a strong urge for a pint or three of Guinness after a hunt.
