Is it water safe?

Never had a leaking problem with my CTX with the new gasket. Never had a leaking problem with my Excal II if the gaskets were in good shape. Given the reports on the EQX, I consider my 800s as water resistant vs waterproof. If I want to go in the surf more than knee deep, I'll use my Excal.
Just the view from my foxhole....
I’m with you on that as well! (Ditto)!

Es ese agujero y cables los que van al compartimento de la empuñadura donde se aloja la batería.

I have had mine submerged while water hunting several times this year. I waded up to my chest so the controller was a foot or two underwater I have not had any issues.
