Is the 6 inch DD EXcelerator EQ 2 Waterproof?

I want to hunt some shallows this week (water 1 foot deep) with my Etrac in an area that is extremely trashy. I have a 6 inch DD EXcelerator EQ 2 coil, but I need to know if it is waterproof before I do...
 
As far as I know the 6" EQ coil is waterproof - you better check on line or call a dealer to make sure !
 
I contacted the sealer in Bulgaria and he says to go for it, the coil is waterproof.
