It only takes one

I hunted 4 hours on a small site that has produced for me in the past. This site is covered in square nails and iron.
It was getting dark and I had nothing to show for my efforts. I decided to detect my way back to the truck. I got within 15' from the truck and the T2SE got a choppy signal that jumped between 69 & 77. I dug a 6" deep plug and recovered a 19mm Confederate SC button with a Schuyler H&G NY back-mark along with 2 square nails. The button has a push on the face and the shank is missing but has good details.
