It WAS a wonderful day for digging!

Big Fang and I hit some fields and nobody thought his first find could be topped(beautiful 1854 quarter!). Then at the end of the day this pretty lady shows up.
My first Bust quarter! It's an 1821. She's tarnished and the plow has hit her in a couple of places but she's beautiful to me!
Man was I thrilled, especially since I hadn't dug a silver coin for about a month!

That is one nice bust quarter Neal.:clapping: That LC isn't too bad either. I bet you about crapped your pants when you saw how old that quarter was huh? Nice going Neal and best of luck when you go back there again and don't be too hard on BF next time.:poke: GL & HH.

When you cross the tracks it's the second field on the left.

Fantastic find! Bust quarters are really scarce (usually more so than bust halves). I never thought that beautiful 1854 quarter could be beat but you did it. That's about the best one day hunt I've ever heard of two guys having. That large cent is nice too. HH

Wow - what a terrific find! I had to go look that one up. Only minted 216,851 of those babies, and you've now got one. And the details on it are super. Just amazing.

Candace is still not great. She's getting 2 units of blood today. She's not losing very much at all and it may stop soon but she needs prayer for sure.
If things get better she may be able to put off surgery for awhile.
