The F19. My results are mine alone. The test was fair. I used the 11DD on my 19 to match the challengers coil size. I matched the signal response on both to be equal on an air test. Both ground balanced easily. The challenger reported three signals as good. The 19 said iron. I removed six inches of dirt off the target. The signal changed from a good tone to iron tone on the challenger. The 19 said iron start to finish. A rematch will be scheduled.

How is the makro racer?

And most of us boxing fans know how rematches usually turn out.-----Thanks for the report George, been waiting for it.-----I just wish you would have had the 5 X 10 for the Racer to go against the 19 stock coil.

Problem is with the F19 you don't know if you are going to get a "good" one or a "bad" one.
Never had that issue.

George, what kind of mineralized dirt were you in?
Nice soil. Balanced around 60.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Thought the racer was the answer backed by R Balboa interesting. There are numerous foreign and or European machines out there not many cut the mustard on US. Soil. I have tried several most were half a$$ at best. Oh and then try to get parts. Or service. Now nokta macro have a good record on sending replacement items but when push comes to shove give me a trusty whites fisher minelab garrett compass etc anyday. I bet the new profind 60 does a much better job at half the cost and I bet I can send it to Ill. For service. Not trying to be negative or knock machines but fool me once you know fool me twice!!!!!! Never again will I be taken ill wait till proven for a couple yrs HH c t

I do like the F19 but I am waiting for the G2+ come out. I think they will be very similar. But thanks for comparison on both the F19 and Racer. Can't wait for the rematch. GS

The first 19's had a very rough time when first launched--lots of recalls. Dealers were having to return stock to have them corrected. Most were some were not--hence if you read the forums there are still some of the bad ones floating around, but buying from a dealer should eliminate this problem.

mine is fine and no surprise on the 1st test results , that's why I pulled the pin on the racer pretty simple really Dave J didn't make it, can't buy time and experience they have a few decades to catch up :bouncy:

Tom it is still a nice detector. It only takes a minute to learn how to set it up and get the most signal response at depth.

Mr K. I' know it well built and unique in many ways. My buddy Dean. Got his and I was the first to see it thu when it arrived. I'll wait to see what happens his overloads. With the 11x7. Not with the 5.3x4.7. Something amiss with the biaxial looking coil. Personally I'm waiting on the impact. And will give it several months or better. For the dust to clear. And the results to come in. If there's a better mouse trap well I'm for it. I've had a couple foreign units that. We're just not worth the time and aggravation. Just to get simple parts. I'm mean no disrespect. Just my thoughts not to jump the gun. Because of the hype Sir you know I respect you're opinion. I have asked you for it in the past and always appreciated you're replies. Thank you for all you testing work. I always read you're posts HH tom

Let's see the finds buddy. The machine is OK in my book. Been doing well in iron. Wade right on into it & pull the goodies out.

I will repost some finds later. What was amazing to me was going to a pounded site and finding over 100 good targets in the iron patches. That is what I call a game changer. Never a problem, good depth and Id at depth. I have used all the major brands at this site. Nothing compares . It also found me two nice silver coins. Tom . I hope you find that perfect machine. Keep it up Tim. I amassed Avery large civil war collection back in the day. It's nice to see someone who shares the same passion. Tex
