It wasn’t “D” day but it was close

As much as this place has been beaten, I was shocked to see this 1916 Merc come out of the ground. I was hoping for a “D” But it just wasn’t in the stars for me.

Nice find I’ve found a few 1916’s all p except two S always hoping!

Hard coin to find the 16d I have found but seems I can't find a 21 or 31 same can be said of wheat pennys found 3 1911s and never found a 11d but i did yesterday they show in the weirdest places . sube
