I wonder what the story behind the face is? Do you think the face is 10K and the ring is silver?

Hey guys, yeah I had to dig about 40 tabs, funny thing was the field had no can slaw. the tokens are chucky cheese and play change. first thing I did when I got the ring home was give it the old acid test, tested good. glad I did'nt go fishin today

Looks like you had a FINE day of digging! Congrats! Hey! I think I know that guy on the ring! Looks like one of my neighbors!!!

Hey Lisa, well I hope he's a nice neighbor, my wife thinks he looks kinda scary

Lee, if you had gone fishing you could have ended up like the guy from an article I read. The guy caught a good sized bass and when he went home to cut it open he found a class ring inside of it!!!! Amazingly, they found the owner. No idea how the fish ended up with it.

Yeah, he's an OK guy. A former road commissioner for the county, which means he was voted into office - twice - so he's well liked. Also a good Christian man!

Sounds like a fish tale to me! Just kidding! It's good that the owner got the ring back, and that the fisherman got the blessing of returning it. Something similar happened to a friend of mine a few years ago. Instead of a ring, the fish had an earring inside of it... and the owner didn't get it back. Speaking of fish tales, here's one for ya! And I PROMISE it's true! When I was 11 years old I caught a nice sized bream using a rod & reel, hook & worm. An 11 pound large mouth bass grabbed the bream and swallowed it, or at least tried to swallow it, and got the breams fins hung in it's throat. The bass put up a good fight but wasn't able to shake the bream from its throat. I was able to reel in BOTH fish! Got my picture in the paper and was a real celebrity there for a while! From time to time someone will come up and tell me that they remember me catching that big fish. Some of them even remember all the details about it. I used to LOVE to go fishing. Still do, but it's been a long time since I've been.

Now Lisa that is a fish story if I ever heard one and it wasn't the one that got away, for you caught two with one hook and worm! Congrats on such a catch!

I used to go fishing with mom, dad and my brother when kids at home and then my ex and I took our kids fishing....but I haven't been for years and years! I don't like to clean fish nor eat them unless they are catfish! I cleaned plenty of them when living at home and cleaned the ones we caught as a family....but I'm glad to leave all that fish cleaning behind! My fish story is when I was still young, my cousin and all of us went fishing at an area we called Sutton's Bluff on the West Fork of the Black River, below where my grandmother and step-grandpa used to live in an old log cabin! Well, while I was casting I caught a fishhook in me behind and my cousin couldn't stop laughing! Mom got it out for me and I was more careful about casting a fishing line out into the water from then on! Now....ya can laugh...but my BUTT hurt!  God Bless! Betty
