its actually longer than that but the rest isnt used much. I plan on heading back Thursday without kids just the wife and me.

An unused beach reveals no finds.... kind like dead men tell no tales...

You gotta search where people go and lose things,,,,,

but I know you know that....

If a beach is barely visited then it's also likely not to have much for you to find on it as well. Stay near where there are road aceess cuts to the beach,
bathrooms, parking areas etc..

Now go out there and find Bleckbeards treasure chest and prove me wrong.. Good luck...

WOW!!!! Living in California, I didn't know beaches like that existed anymore. If you took the same shot of a beach here, you'd never see the sand for the people. But I guess you can't have both peace and serenity and good finds too. Keep on swinging Nampa 23.

this place is covered with people during the summer and spring break. its a party beach drinking sex 4wheelers dirt bikes fishing and cars and trucks drive up and down it but you can find it empty during the winter.
also a pic of before and after hurricane ike

While its true that un-used beaches have no finds.... It also seems to follow that low use beaches have few detectorists and the ones that bother with them get the finds that ARE there.

We hit a beach recently after a "surf lifesaving carnival" and arrived to see 2 other guys working it. Pretty obvious stuff so we werent surprised. We left them to it and went back the next day to the area up the beach where the carnival wasnt... and found a nice silver charm and some coins as well as a junk pendant.

So far we have done pretty well going to the "less travelled" beaches.... So I think its a balance thing.

That beach will keep you busy for a loooonnnnggg time. :bouncy:
