Just before dark.

Detected a few minutes before dark behind my house and I continge to score tiny lead. Wish I knew what the brass piece came off of.

The lead looks like a #3 or 4 buckshot.

Thanks I thought the same. It's that thin piece of brass that's got me stumped.

the brass looks like it's the top off a old oil port from a older generator. flip it up and add a couple drops of earl.

It kind of looks like Flanagan but it's to thin. Think paper thin. Maybe it's off some piece of jewelry. It came off a civil war site.
