Julien is getting the Compadre I had for sale and just wanted to take a minute and say that he was a great guy to deal with. As I told him the only little factor with the Compadre is the lower rod is alittle harder than usual to move in and out of the middle pole to adjust the coil height (not uncommon with some of the Tesoro's). I know he will be pleased with the condition of the Compadre and on how well it works. It hits on amazingly tiny jewelry items. And I can say that it is true when they tell ya the Compadre will hit on small linked gold chains, I tested it on them. Expected Delivery Date: November 24, 2010 hope you have some free time next Wednesday to test it out jbow. Report back and let us know how it does for you. Steve.jbow said:I had and sold a Cortes. I have a Tejon and I have a Compadre on the way... I am excited! I got a great deal on it used and plan to see how quickly I can get it to pay for itself with clad and jewelry... it shouldn't take long from what I hear.

According to Tesoro, James left for health reasons and sold his part to Vince, They talked confidently and said they were going strong.bulletman said:Congrats jbow. I am not boasting, I have 9 Tesoros. That's how much I like them. Noticed an ad in Lost Treasure on Tesoro and the funny thing is that it is signed "Vince Gifford". What happened to the brother?

Just for fun I checked the tracking number and it said the Compadre was delivered today, that was quicker than I thought it would be. Hope you like it jbow. Next time I will have to sell you a brand new one and beat it up alittle before I send it to youjbow said:I put it together but have not put the battery in yet. It may be a few days before I get a chance to use it. You really shouldn't sell a new detector and call it used... this one is obviously brand new!
Thanks...
