Just finished this 1954 Chris Craft Commander R/C boat

This was a different project for me, I usually build wooden tall ship models. But I wanted to try something a little different just as a change of pace. I have built numerous radio control planes before, but this was the first boat. It has 2 850 brushed motors that I had to order from England since non could be found in my area. I took her out on her maiden voyage and she performed great. Quite quick with those hog of motors in it. I also set it up for lipo batteries. At 36 inches long, it has plenty of room.
 
Hey Bj, I'm still kickin, just not as high as I used to lol.I hope you are doing well yourself. It took me about 400 hours and 6 months to build it. The toughest part was the sanding in between the layers of epoxy, which totals about 5 including a layer of fiberglass cloth. You could just about take a hammer to hull.
