Just heard back from ML about the Digisearch Meter

This is what they told me....

Hi Bob,

Yes the digisearch meter will work on previous Sovereigns, and coils.

We cannot guarantee the functionality of aftermarket coils with the Digisearch, but the Minelab BBS/Tornado/Coinsearch
coils will work fine.

OK so this should clear up any doubts about the functionality of the Digisearch meter once and for all. I'm sure it will work fine with all aftermarket coils as well.
 
We can use this newer meter on the older Sovereign, or if we have a older meter as some like the 550 numbers that these will work on the new GTs.
Thanks for that info as i am sure it will help many.
