Just missed a trifecta

Met up after work Thursday with Rustydigger to take advantage of the much needed rain and cooler temps. Hit an old, trashy park that goes back at least 100 yrs and has been hammered good or so we thought. Switched settings back to high dens/auto sens and coin/jewelry. Got some clad, wheaties and then got a nice high 38/39 signal and snagged a '43 mercury at 7-8 inches. About 30 minutes later, swept a high, but broken sound and at just 3-4 inches and pulled up the bent & gutted '02 barber dime. Rustydigger hit the area a few minutes before, but chose not to dig it (thanks buddy ). In fact, as soon as I showed him the coin, he knew what area it came from. Sterling shank ring also hit at 38.
We had previously hit this same park last Sunday night, during the heat wave when I got the no date SLQ and the '91 IH. Both were tough diggings at just 5-6 inches. Rustydigger had a '43 Wash qtr and an '81 IH which he'll likely post over on the Spectra V3 forum. We hope to be back there over the weekend. Thanks for looking.

Those were some good hunts still kicking myself for not digging that dime lol:rage:

Clad -thanks and confirmed the high tones by toggling out of coin/jewelry to all metal and saw the same tids validating a must-dig.
Rustydigger, I'm sure I'll be returning the" pass it over favor' to you quite soon, buddy.
Prep- thanks, may need to do a rain dance out there in Il.., hope it comes soon.
Croaker, definitely looking forward to harvested fields and cooler temps, too.

Hey Ken,
Congrats on the multi-silver day. Gotta love 'em when you can. Glad to hear that the temps are breaking for you.
