Just ordered the new pro coil from Kellyco.

I ordered mine yesterday. I called today and they said that they were supposed to have received a shipment from Minelab two days ago. They said that they should be in any day. I'm anxious to try it out. Not as interested in the weight reduction as I am in being able to increase sensitivity. Have to wait and see.

They're a forum sponsor now so I can say who they are. Yeah! (I've been very happy with them. It's who I purchased my SE, etc., from.) Same price. (97 cents difference but who cares) They should be in on Monday and hopefully shipped pretty much right away. (But I think I'm first in line.
) They have buyers for all theirs, as I presume most dealers have by now--if not a while back.
I've been using the Slimline almost exclusively lately. Not long ago, I went to the X-5 for a couple of sites and it seemed to confuse the heck out of me.
I can understand now why a lot of folks tend to stick with one coil. I tried the WOT again not too long ago on one field and, while it didn't seem to confuse me as much, I didn't seem to be getting any more depth and I'm not sure the weight was worth the extra coverage. Depending on how the Pro coil works out, I may end up selling my Slimline and/or WOT to recoup my costs. If I can pick up the FBS 7.5" coil cheaply enough, I may try that too yet though.
