Just read Andy's book and I gotta question...

I appreciate all the posting and comments. All this info will help us all I hope. Hopefully nobody here was offended by anothers comments, as Im sure these posts were made with all good intentions. I really enjoy hearing all the opinions from everyone here..some we may agree with..some we wont. But ALL opinions are welcome!!! I got a few ideas from here and I will try them in the field. I will post my results and I hope the ones Im not so crazy about do work.If Im proven wrong that means I learned something new!! Keep your thoughts coming and thanks again for all contributors!:usaflag: HH!!

Dave wasn't bashing when he posted, maybe he went about it a little wrong, but he is learning, he BOUGHT Andy's book, what made him a little upset was Andy's PM's...maybe if Andy had posted the things said instead of Pm's...who knows, legal is wanting to learn everything and if you guys are so touchy then there is a problem..legal said a few things he should not have, but his whole intent was on LEARNING, not BASHING, like so many PM'd him and BASHED him...did you?

With the frequency of the F75 it should be hot on nickle items so that's probably true. And yeah the SE is a silver magnet as are all the explorers, that's for sure.

I'd personally rather dig silver, but I'll gladly take a buffalo or war nickle any old day of the week.

I am also reading the book. I have a EXP II. What I got from the book and already do,was to set the threshold so you here a tone. By doing this you know when the detector is discriminating by the null or no sound produced when the target is passed over. Before I read the book I would get a little upset after a while when the nulls kept happening. Now I know what to do or I can leave it as is and still have confidence in my machine.
