I will be detecting an old home site with plantation ties in the morning. I know the family very well and I'm almost certain its virgin ground. I've already google earth the site to plan my hunt. It also had an old barn onsite. When I was young I remember the wood boards were salvaged from it. Low and slow is my plan and I'm bringing all the Nox coils.

You may need some assistance 🤭

Highlighter 1000, Best of luck to you on your plantation hunt. Take your time, and as you said, low and slow is good. Dig and Save some History.
Indeed I plan on using this hunt as a learning period also because the dynamics are going to change a little as far as common trash that I find in parks.

I don’t know if you notch with the equinox, however I wouldn’t notch anything out at a place like this. That’s my .02 worth.

I don't. I have a custom cherry picking program in my user profile but it's for parks

I was just going to say it might have been trash back then but could be valuable finds today. I envy you getting this opportunity!!!!!
