General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Kellyco Complaint

I put in an order with Kellyco last Saturday, as they are the only company that carried the coil I wanted to Purchase. Because of this I also order a couple other items simply to consolidate the order and shipping costs.

Well Kellyco had to put one item on back order, so I called the company that I normally like to order from and they had the item in stock.
current status
ordered:
From Kellyco
one 6" coil and detector face cover, package is 2.5 pounds. ordered last Saturday and package is still not expected to arrive until next Tues.
Ordered from NWI detectors:
Sent an email on Sunday to my favored supplier, NWI detectors, asking if they had a lower shaft in stock for my detector.
They shipped on Monday and package arrived yesterday.

no request was made for special fast shipping to either vender, just send as normal where I do not have to pay any additional shipping charges.

so now I have the Shaft and no coil to attach to it
And cost for the shaft was about $3 less than the kellyco price and arrived much faster. This goes for the detector and other items I purchased for NWI. I made no request for special shipping, there was no additional cost of for shipping and items ordered arrive within 4 working days.

When Kellyco says they ship with standard UPS ground transportation, I now beleive someone is actually driving my coil from Florida all the way to Washington State.

I suggest Kellyco think about this as only purchases I will make from them is products only they carry.

Kelyco may be larger than many other venders but that does not mean they have items in stock and there does not seem to be any efficientcies provided do to their larger size.

In this current world of advancing technology and how it is used and preceived to provide easier access and efficiency, I still favor personal service and a voice at the other end of the phone above all else.
