Kids and Metal Detecting

DOP

Member
Hi everyone! I’ve gotten a lot of emails from people curious about getting their kids involved with metal detecting. Yes!! Do it. My 14 year old is loving it and it keeping me “cool” for just a little while longer! 😎 So if you’re wanting to capture their attention with a great wholesome activity, get them a detector and make a video like we did! Check us out! There will be many more so if you like it, subscribe and we will keep posting the awesome times.

I’ve now got my 14 yr old granddaughter interested! Her Dad became interested watching me find stuff on vacations so I started but Dad gets to carry on. No competition, NOT!!! Lol

DOP, a nice video. Got two grandsons that detect on the farm in cool weather. Way to hot now. I also try to impart a little historical knowledge to them. I think it's hard for them, at their age, to understand how difficult life was for our ancestors. No electricity (TV, running water, computers, elec. stoves, light bulbs, airplanes, autos). Well, you get the idea. The list goes on and on. Real history doesn't seem to be very important to teach any more.
