Knife and nickels

Went out very briefly this am...looking for gold in a trashy park. This cool little penknife is made in the USA by McGrew in Arkansas. Its really getting too hot up here to hunt!

Thats why I like to run allmetal on the beach...to get the knives! with a disc of 1, and 1 notch, they dont hardly make a peep. Which is weird, since those SS washers in a totlot chirp in the 20's...and i find little pieces of zippers and stuff too...it must just knock out big iron.

no ice fishing at all this year...just a little cold, hardly any snow, no deep frost...we will be up our waist in bamboo and bugs in a week!
Sure has been good for us metal detectorists though...just a one month break, and right back in it!
