LabradorBob and I hunted my lucky park yesterday.Oldies were slim except for 1870 Seated quarter & 1 Indian

We put in a long day but the oldies were hiding very well.The gold plated USN ring had me excited for a second as well as the fancy cuff link.Found more than enough clad to cover my gas as the pile in lower middle of pic is $3.06 all in one spill on a hill side stacked against a tree :thumbup:We still had a great time even if it was a bit slow and if the quarter had a CC mint :surprised: the outcome would have been drastically different.
 
Nice to find some old silver. I am on a silver quarter drought and would be tickled to find a seater quarter.

Seated anything would be great, I would settle for a seated pull tab at this point.:biggrin: Congrats!

We gave it our BEST shot Ray,Glad you found the Quarter.It just wasn't meant to be for me,
It wasn't for lack of trying on either of us.It was a long day and i loved every minute of it.
Glad it quit raining though.
Maybe my turn to find silver next time,Thanks sooo much for the invite and next time you find an 1870 Seated Quarter,I hope it is a CC.

I found a seated lady once....accidently went into the wrong public restroom!!!!:blush: Thanks Ray for the story and the pictures. How many times do you think you walked over the quarter at your lucky park??

I had never hunted the area where I found the quarter before as it is actualy outside the modern boundry of said park.We crossed over into a vacant field I thought might have been part of the park years ago.Not much of anything there including trash.Just got lucky and passed over a stray is all:thumbup:
