large amethyst crystal and 10K with 4 sapphires

Hello,
We were able to fit in a very short 2 hour excursion into fresh with my daughter. She did some snorkeling and I detected in ankle to knee deep with an IDX Pro. Toni found a very large amethyst crystal 2" by 3 " in 5 feet of water. I found a bit of change, nails, bobbie pins and a 10K ring with 4 small sapphires in it. I don't know if the amethyst is an indigenous one or some kid took it out of the family rock collection and winged it into the lake. Short but sweet hunt for both of us!

Kind Regards,
Steve

sounds like a good hunt

Yes, it was a great time for this father daughter team. Wish we had more time. We can get an hour or 2 each week. Should be caught up with everything in late September. Then it is detecting in the rain up here, got a Tiger Shark on the way, then maybe an Excal?

Kind regards,
Steve

Don't want the hassles that go with it. An acquaintance in Florida was mobbed by an attorney because he showed photos of rings.

Best Regards,
Steve
