Larger Coil?

King-John

New member
I've been thinking of picking up a larger coil for the new machine, mostly for some of the beach's I detect and some fields most of these spots do not have a lot of junk to weed through. I'm looking for some recommendations on size and brand.
Thank You
John

how much have you used the pro coil? If you move up to a 15 or 18 inch. You can gain a little more depth, but you have to ask, is it worth the cost of the coil? You can find more coins with the pro-coil just by opening up your screen and digging more targets. When I hunt very clear field, I use a fully open screen and dig it all. Maybe I'll hit a pistol or a meteorite one day. Also, make sure you get a bungie for extra weight!

As Jason said the Pro coil is a great coil and is on my machine most of the time. When I hit ovals or beaches I put on my 12x15SEF, and it is a great coil. Nice crisp target responses and excellent coverage.

I recommend one.....but they are heavy after a while detecting.

Cheers,
Greg

I really like the stability, depth and pinpointing accuracy of my 15x12 SEF.
