Last couple of days digs with the Omega and 5" coil.

One of my older, but frugal spots of late, finally gave up a few goodies. It took just inching along with the small coil and digging a lot of mixed and funky signal tones. I got the 43P war nickel yesterday and 2 of the wheats. Dug the 45 Merc. this morning along with the 38 Buffalo and the 42P war nickel. All in all, concentrating on nickel readings, I dug 7 nickels in total today and 3 yesterday. Got another small sterling ring and the 10k (shucks) g. f. ring this morning. The badge and snoopy came to light yesterday. Ran 99 sen, 1 disc, d3 tones and g b of 57-61. Good luck everyone. HH jim tn

Nice going Jim:) I think I may have asked before. What was the ID on the war nickel. I have yet to find one with my Omega.

1 was 3" deep and the other right at 4. Both id'ed 57-59 with mostly 57/58. Regular nickels on my Omega id 56-57 and mostly 57. HH jim tn
