These old coins were found in between two baseball diamonds which I really never hunted too much at all. The amount of buffalo nickels really suprised me along with the 1867 shield nickel.Still like to find silver the best. Shield nickel gave me a 04-07 reading. Thats the eighth one I found at this park since I started using Etrac 3-2010. Hope to hit this area again real soon!! Hope you folks like these.
 
WOW you really cleaned up on the nickel, the E-trac is a awesome weapon cograts :cheers:

Thanks for the info on the Shield Nickel, now I know why I have not found one!
 
The shield nickels always come in lower, for one they are smaller than the buffalo and V nickel, last one I dug was 10-10 and before that I dug one that was 08-08

I have a park like that where there is old nickels everywhere, I love lazy hunters who won't dig nickel signals!
