Hunted several locations last week including an old house, a vacant lot where a house once stood, a 1800's church parking area and a hundred foot long stretch of old sidewalk.
All of these hunts were my usual end of the day - stop on the way home from work hunts that were approx. 1/2 hr. to 1 1/2 hour long.
The 1847 Large Cent was 7" down and came in with target ID numbers that bounced around a little - but always stayed in the - FE - 10-12 - CO - 45-46-47 range.
The copper piece next to Key is some what of a mystery - looks a little like a coin - looks a little like a button - any ideas ?
