Lead object (Pics added)

This was found at an old barn in North East TN. As you can see from the pictures there are two different sizes to it. The Top portion is 3 1/4 inch think and the narrower portion is 2 1/2 inch thick. It is 1 3/4 inch in depth. It is solid lead and probably weighs approx 8 -10 pounds. The lettering on the bottom seems to have the letters C I R M A T. Anyone have the slightest clue what it might be?

I would guess it was lead bullion sold for making your own bullets since it was near a barn. If you went to a dry goods store and bought lead it could have come in any shape or form as long as it was sold by weight it didn't really matter what if anything was stamped on it.

I can't make out as much as you can see on it but what looks like an M could be a W assumming they kept their stamp ledgable without rotating to read it.
