improved headphones
remote PP mod.
new end cap with dual output for headphones and PP switch
straight shaft out of carbon fibre

Just got the remote PP mod from Joe yesterday and going to find some gold on sunday (positive mental attitude).

With this coil change, do you hear any additional background noise when swinging the detector (for example the end of each swing?). I modified my Excal 800 with a larger coil and do hear this (although I can eliminate it by turning down the threshold).

I don't think so.

Its been a while since I had the 10" fitted to do a direct comparison.

I occasionally get a very faint bit of noise when I change direction but it is very faint and not always, it could be the depth is changing.

Never saw a WOT mod like that! Sure should make placing the Stealth easier.

I am thinking some luminescent yellow paint might be great for murky water and night hunting.

Nice setup to say the least...and it WORKED!

Its a standar WOT 15 inch coil with the coiltek junction kit (i can still put on my 10" minelab easily).

The coil is painted in plastic dip yellow.

I have a ctx3030 and have painted that coil yellow as well, makes a big difference if the water is full of silt, know where to point the scoop.
