Leather worker

Any body work with leather out there? I just got into it. It started by me looking to make a case for my pin pointer and my WM10. The next thing you know I started buying tools. I kid you not, I have already spent more on leather tools then I have spent on both of my Minelabs, CTX and my Safari with all the accessories and coils included. If anybody needs a holster or a belt you know where to find me.

Sounds very interesting Jerseyjim! Good Luck on your new venture. Besides Belts, there is always a market for custom gun holsters, leather hand grips with fringe for motorcycles, Chaps, etc.

Good hobby you have gotten into. I made all my spending money during my high school years doing leather work. I made billfolds, belts, skoal holders, & purses. Also did minor bridle & saddle repair. Still have my original tools plus many more accumulated over the last 40 years.

I love leather working, learning more every day. There are leather workers out there that are true artist. I love looking at there work. I am happy just passing some time and keeping busy.

I always thought I'd like the leather work. What is a good machine that would be able to sew leather? Another thing. What kind of price-range? Thanks......

You can make some nice accessories for yourself such as belts and wallets. If you make it for yourself and
take pride in your work, no one else will have one exactly like it.
