Like Fred, it was a nice casual afternoon... only I went out looking for arrowheads...

I had done as much tiling as I could in the kitchen, so I took the afternoon off and went to Burton for a quick looksee. The lake is dropping rapidly and new areas are opening up pretty much daily. A liitle rain would help to clean off the surface mud on the beach.. but all in all it was a good day.

I found two awls, both made of quartz and this translucent beauty, also made of quartz. Nine points this year and I think this one is my best so far

I am happy for you...you not only got to hunt for arrowheads, but you found a very nice artifact. I do not know if you do this or not, but I ofter mark the date found on the arrowhead with a fine point pen...helps me later to I.D. it. You did good! Kelley (Texas) :)
