Liking the F70 stock coil on my F75

Crosby

New member
Went back to an old swimming hole I've previously pounded with the EX II and T2. It's tough going because of the proximity of power lines, but my F75 ran smooth with the F70 coil. I was able to run my sens up to 85 in DE mode, 2f and disc six. Only got to swing for an hour and a half and managed a badly corroded 1936 S wheat and a 1943 S walker, in addition to my usual pile of lead slugs and bullet shells.

Nice find Crosby....How did I miss that?

The only problem with running the stock coil from the F70 on the F75 is it won't unmask as well as the F75 DD coil. The F75 stock coil is going to be faster when relic hunting in ground that has a fair amount of trash and nails...It should be great for turf hunting.

Don't know about the F-70 coil but I get my best results on the F-75 with the stock DD coil running 2F. Also seem to enjoy the F-75 the most using 2F.
