Little detecting today

Went to a school today built in 1938 and was hoping for some silver. Did get a 1945 Wheatie.
 
some days chickens other days feathers.
atleast you got a grain penny lol.
my last hunt was about like that.
i havent pulled silver yet this year.
 
Yeah but not enough to feed the chicken and not enough to make some biscuits.:rofl:

iv gone out and didnt find one red cent befor.
the wife asked if i had actualy gone detecting or girl chasen.
i was detecting for real. so now i always try to find something to show her.
 
My first silver was a 1916 d dime I found in my neighbors yard. Unforetunately his grandson was with me and I had no clue it was valuable so I gave it to him. That night I researched it and found out what it was worth. I told the boys grandpa that it could be worth hundreds if not thousands of dollors and to tell his grandson not to lose it. About a year later I asked the boys daddy about it aand told him what it could be worth and he and his wife tore the house apart to no avail. Needless to say a lesson learned the hard way!
