Little rubber coil to rod spacers

all iron

Member
I need some of those little washers that go in the end of the lower rod
5 inch coil isn't tight enough without one

anyone know where i can pick them up or possibly a even cheaper alternative?

you should be able to use an O ring in place of the rubber washer... Lowe's or Home Depot should have one. A garden hose/washing machine hose washer should work. If they are too large just cut it to fit..

just reading different post had the same problem one of my machine but might fit yours .Link to my post from 2010 http://www.findmall.com/read.php?32,1169045,1172355#msg-1172355 ace hardware had some i think a quaretr a pieces.

I use Tap washer that you can buy from most DIY stores over here in the UK usually they come in multi packs and various sizes and cost a fraction of the factory washers prices and from the same compound rubber as well, and as they are so cheap to buy its worth having a few back up just incase you need them in the future.

Make some from a plastic coffee can lid or an old innertube? Sharpen the end of a short copper pipe to make a punch to cut better circles or just use a knife and scissors.
