Live bullets

I dug yet another live round this morning, along with about 65 coins, no jewelry. My jug of dug live rounds is getting full. Here's 30 years digging them, must be 130 of them or so. steve in so az

That is quit a few. I have dug several over the years but not that many. I did get two live 12 ga last year in the water. That was a first.

Lots of bullets and I like your JUG, too! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Thanks Betty - I made the jug on a pottery wheel. When I was teaching I made a kazillion clay items . Just about everything you have seen in clay I made :) steve

NICE collection Steve!
Well, I don't have 30 years, but I'm probably on your pace in my 5 or so years. (must be a NY thing :) )Some oldies, some brand new (3 at a time is a record for me; shiny silver cased '38's I think), and some big caliber military type at the beach. I've handed them to park police rather than carry them around... Don't need anything going off in my pouch if you know what I mean :)

I've only found one in all the years I've been involved in the hobby but it was in a children's elementary school playground.

I have found many many bullets in my detecting days. I have found signal rounds, and then a couple of boxes of bullets, minus a clip load in a tot lot. Guess they thought they would leave them there for later or maybe hid them there when the cops showed up ? I don't know. One thing I know for for sure is they won't be there when they go looking for them, and the kids at that park will not find them. Crazy world we live in.

Wow, that's a lot of ammunition !!! I got a 30.06 round the other day at the city park. I also found a spent 9mm round in the dirt at an old closed down Elementary school last week. I guess there are just crazy people everywhere !!!
