Looking at the F75 LTD but . . .

Hello tomose,

Yep, these were all air testing results.

I was just trying to see at the time if there was a big difference in DST on and off, and also I had some test results from before the upgrade that I listed along side.

Just to add I am pretty happy with the upgrade on my F75Ltd.

Also I need to add I run my 75 in 9.0 all the time, which is DST on but I still belive is DST off. Nobody knows.

Ron in WV

My hunting buddy and I both feel DST 90 is off, as well and run in 90 all the time. Oh, and its easy to get to DST 91 to check it against 90 for depth and I can't tell enough difference between 90 and 91 to talk about it. The F 75 with DST is a pretty darn good detector. HH jim tn

The F75 upgrade was well worth it. When I bought my F75 SE I thought it was a mistake . I had to run low settings all the time ,EMI was a nightmare in places. Well I got the upgrade and just never looked back. I run 9.1 and have no EMI what so ever. I run 9.0 and do get some EMI. But depth is not to noticeable on either 9.0 to 9.1 . I would rather have no EMI then gain a half inch. The FA mode in iron is great. GS

GS, I am with you on the half inch and no emi. Mine also is a pure pleasure to use. HH jim nt

I`m glad to hear more of different peoples results. The reason I mentioned that its "a fact its not as deep in DST on as it is in DST off " ,is because i`ve read it voiced on a number of various forums by folk saying as much ,and more than a few times, so thats what brought me to say that.

PS, Sorry Ron for not reading and digesting your post which clearly said,....." Here is air test results I done with DST on and off," as My previous post asked " was it in Air or not ? " I really must read a post more carefully

Each F 75, as we all know, (I've had 3) does things a little different. Over all, for me, my current one with DST is by far the smoothest runner, deepest and most accurate of the three I've had. Is it perfect, , nope, but I enjoy using it and it works for my kind of hunting. HH jim tn
